I Am Not An Atheist

‘We are, by astronomical standards, a pampered, cossetted, cherished group of creatures; our Darwinian claim to have done it all ourselves is as ridiculous and as charming as a baby’s brave efforts to stand on its own feet and refuse his mother’s hand. If the universe had not been made with the most exacting precision we could never have come into existence. It is my view that these circumstances indicate the universe was created for man to live in.‘

(John A O’Keefe : ‘The Theological Impact of the New Cosmology’)

Since the beginning of time, men have created gods to explain what they could not fathom. Now that we have a fair knowledge of how life is created, it’s deemed “fake news”, while we hold onto the beliefs of our superstitious ancestors. Life is wonderful and doesn’t need any false deities.

You use the word ‘created’ and you are dead right. You are not surely one of those people who believes that because we have discovered the mechanism we can do without the agency?@Softandsweet2
