most atheists dispute existence of the supernatural based on physcalist/scientism-esque views -- which is understandable but hubristic: who are you to think that you were born with the biological capability necessary to behold reality in its entirety? to be (capable of being) the ultimate authority on reality? pure hubris.

3. there's no compelling necessity to postulate the existence of gods, and the postulation explains nothing... it merely tries to explain everything away.
