There are documented videos of people being swallowed by whales, it happens. Jonah was the first case.

Could Jonah survive in a whale? The Bible didn't say it was a whale, the Bible said God created a great fish. It is the church who defined it as a whale. Funny how we can accept mechanical mechanisms like submarines and other submergable crafts humans use to explore underwater but refuse the notion that The entity that created the heavens and earth doesn't have the technology to create a vehicle of sorts to hold and carry a person underwater. And in the ancient days if one saw something like a submarine or any of the things used today in the water they would automatically see it as a big fish.

@Charity None of the prophecies in the Bible are confirmed outside that book. Some never happened. Such as the Nile drying up and the city of Damascus being destroyed.

There are some in time prophecies that have not been quite fulfilled.

The Nile and the Euphrates river will prophesy to dry up ""it didn't say when it just said it would"" and guess what both are drying up.

And Damascus as much war that is going on over there in Syria the time is going to come when Syria will look like Ukraine or Palestine. But as with the rivers it did not give a specific time when the event will happen, there are many more wars to come, and before it's all said and done there will be a world war III over in that land, according to some interpretations of scripture. And with the weapons they use today much much destruction.
