How do atheists explain theists' adherence to God.

I am Yrger the theist, I love to undertand how atheists think, for they must do thinking for they are rational animals (from Aristotle?) like myself.

Where did god come from ?
Was he created, or does he “self exist” with all his knowledge and abilities intact ?
Is there only one of his kind, or is he part of a race of such beings ?
What purpose does creation serve, as far as god plans ?
When did god begin creation ?
What was he doing before creation ?
Why is creation so large , are there other worlds with life. What are they like ?
Stopping at god, doesn’t answer any of the same questions we have without him. If there’s no differences, who needs him ?
