How and why a human become an atheist

I am certain God exists, but I need to know how and why atheists become atheistic.

So, paging any atheist, please explain how and why you become an atheist, that will motivate me to know God better.

Hi Torsten, I have to know how and why atheists deny God exists, so that I could research more on God and perceive better, and become more and more knowledgeable how atheists are mistaken in their concepts of God.
