I was a philosophy minor in college and I studied philosophy of religion/God in college (The professor was a devout Christian), and I could find no real rational argument which would satisfy why I should believe Christianity vs any other religion. Even if one had found a satisfactory argument for the existence of a God, there was no reason at all to connect it to the one as described in the Bible, most of the time. Really, as a devout-catholic-turned-atheist my relationship to atheism is mostly a relationship to religion rather than the question of whether or not God exists.
