@MuslimBarbie I read the quran and was shocked too. It has nothing in it that makes me want to be a muslim. It is evil from front to back. Demonic inspired.
@hippyjoe1955 And how is bible?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@MuslimBarbie The Bible is inspired by Yahweh. The Bible is Yahweh breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of Yahweh may be complete, equipped for every good work. ! Timothy 3:16,17.
@hippyjoe1955 where has the name bible come from?
It isnt even mentioned in the bible itself, tahst the word of God seriously?
If it waswhy didnt god himself name this book?
@hippyjoe1955 the concept of trinity, the bases of christianity itself is not openly mentioned in the bible.

@MuslimBarbie Bible comes from common Greek and Latin. It means 'The Books' or 'The scroll'. It is a name that has been used by Christians since the 1st century Anno Domini.

@MuslimBarbie Actually it is. It is hinted at in Genesis. "Let US create man in OUR image. Note the plural. In Judaism at the end of the service the Cohen (Priests not the rabbi) stand up and do their benedition they make a Three pronged hand symbol. It is where Leonard Nimoy of Star Trek fame came up with his iconic Vulcan salute. He saw the priests doing it in synagogue.
@hippyjoe1955 there is history behind this name, but its not at all divine.
If it was the only word of god, why didn't ur Yahweh name it then?
Allah has mentioned Quran in the Quran itself, he named it so its divine.
@hippyjoe1955 that, is no way suggests that the concept of trinity u all have made is right.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@MuslimBarbie Why are you getting hung up on a word? Serious question. The word Word is not in the Bible either. The New Covenant was written in Greek and Greek doesn't have the word Word in it. So when John the Apostle wrote in the beginning was the Word he actually said in the beginning was the LOGOS. God's Logic, Thought, Stream of Conciousness.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@MuslimBarbie If you understood the Hebrew which you don't. The fact is that the first Christians were Jews. They knew the Scriptures of the Old Covenant very very very well. St Paul was a student at the best rabbinical school in Israel. He was their top student.
@hippyjoe1955 the point being?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@MuslimBarbie That Paul did not create something new. He understood the Trinity as being a basic concept in Judaism.
@hippyjoe1955 but jews don't believe truly in that concept themselves.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@MuslimBarbie Many do believe it. The Old Covenant is full of promises of the coming Messiah who was thought to be Fully God.
