I Am An Atheist

I am a proud atheist and an ex Christian and ex Mormon.
Also my lack of belief in a god has nothing to do with the theory of evolution. Christians just cannot seem to accept this fact. When I first became an atheist I didn’t even know anything about the theory of evolution. I have learned about it since then because they keep forcing me to defend it. I am not the best qualified person to defend it but some of them just can’t seem to accept this fact.
Also I do not hate god. How can I hate something I don’t believe in.
The reason I’m an atheist is because I visited atheist websites and finally listened to them with an open mind. I also listened to apologists with an open mind. I learned to much about the Bible and the history of Mormonism.

Mormon? I think it is a cult. They add to the Bible! Try to just read the Bible and avoid cults🤗
Bandit2398 · 51-55, M
I like the way joe Rogan put it. Do you know the difference between a religion and a cult? A cult is started by someone who knows it’s all bullshit. In a religion that guy is dead. @Carazaa
Bandit2398 · 51-55, M
@Carazaa you criticize Mormonism because they added to the Bible. Yet a Jewish person could criticize Christianity for adding to their scriptures. Have you ever thought about that? Christianity was considered a cult 2000 years ago when it was a new religion.
Carazaa · F
@Bandit2398 I don't really care if someone criticizes Christianity, I only care if it is true or not. I have studied many religions and the Bible is true. Some things can't be proven but it IS Gods word!
Bandit2398 · 51-55, M
How do you know the Bible is gods word? How do you know it’s true?@Carazaa
Nanori · F
@Bandit2398 well how do I know the bible is god's word? because it says it is 🤪
Carazaa · F
@Nanori because of the prophesies.
Bandit2398 · 51-55, M
Isn’t that circular logic?
So if the Quran or Book of Mormon says that they’re the word of god would you then believe it?@Nanori
Bandit2398 · 51-55, M
Well in Matthew 24 Jesus made a lot of prophesies that haven’t come true and he told the people their gerneration would not pass till they did. Isn’t this an example of a false prophecy?@Carazaa @Carazaa
Nanori · F
@Bandit2398 wasnt my emoji clear enough?
Bandit2398 · 51-55, M
@Nanori what’s an emoji?
Carazaa · F
@Bandit2398 What hasn't come true? I personally think everything has come true except the last person saved!
Bandit2398 · 51-55, M
@Carazaa is you read Matthew chapiter 24 verse 30 says 30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[c] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.[d] 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
So everyone would see Jesus comming in the clouds
Then in verse 34 he says
34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
Here he is saying some of the people he is talking to would live to see these predictions happen. This project did not come true.
Carazaa · F
@Bandit2398 no that is not at all what he is saying! Peter asked what will be the SIGNS of the end He told them that when you see these signs THAT will be the last generation. He was saying first there will be wars and the end is not yet! So obviously not talking about then. He also was talking about the what was coming in a day or so, the crucifixion, and they would see it all including him going home to heaven. And they did!
Bandit2398 · 51-55, M
What do you mean that’s not what he says? He specifically said everyone would see him comming in the clouds. @Carazaa
Bandit2398 · 51-55, M
@Carazaa just like you have come up with a ridiculous explanation to explain away a false prophecy, Mormon apologist come up with ridiculous explanations to explain away anything that doesn’t make sense about their religion.
Carazaa · F
@Bandit2398 I care about you and people here and if you choose to ignore the Bible and you want to jump to conclusions about a passage without studying everything Jesus said to see if it makes sense that's up to you. But I prefer to study the Bible and not jump to any conclusion about any verse except after I have read it all. Jesus said in Revelations 22 "I come quickly" And "every knee will bow" I believe we are the last generation because of the signs he was talking about in this generation, which was NOT happening even when I was a child. So please don't jump to conclusions and dismiss it. God has warnings if we dismiss it. 🤗
Carazaa · F
@Bandit2398 Another of the signs he was talking about was that in the generation that would see his return iniquity would be abounding and mans hearts growing cold. That is happening all over the world now. Another sign is knowledge increasing. 40 years ago smart phones were not invented. Now everyone has them. Another sign is the gospel reaching the world, well with the increased knowledge that is possible, another sign is increased earthquakes and famines, look that up please. Another sign is increased plagues, look up that please. Another sign is people going "to and fro" Another sign is people FALLING AWAY from the faith. YOU are a good example.

Jesus proved he was God Almighty. Not an angel, or a prophet, or a liar. He is the creator of the Universe. And he can forgive sins, only him. How do we know? Because he said to the apostles. What is harder to say, Your sins are forgiven, or take up your bed and walk to this crippled man. They said, to say take up your bed and walk. THEN Jesus said take up your bed and walk and the man did so. Because of Jesus miracles the apostles were willing to die a torturous death to testify what they had seen. Only God can forgive our sins, which separates us from God in eternity.

"In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word WAS GOD. "And the word became flesh and dwelt among us. Everything was made by Him, and there was nothing that was made that was NOT made by him" He came into the world but the world did not receive him. But to those who did receive Him, they became the children of God."
Bandit2398 · 51-55, M
He said the people he was talking too would not pass away and they would witness this. This is a failed prophecy.
Predicting famines and earthquakes is not very impressive. People falling away from the faith isn’t a very impressive prophecy either.you don’t need supernatural powers to
Predict people will fall away from any religion.
It’s not very impressive to make general prophesies with no details. @Carazaa
Nanori · F
@Bandit2398 also something funny religion does is that it waits and see for something new to happen, then rewrites its books and it says "oh we predicted it"
Carazaa · F
@Bandit2398 They did see him go to his kingdom and the holy spirit came down. They thought he was not God, but he was saying that they would see Gods kingdom come before they died and they did.
Carazaa · F
@Nanori Funny religion? Well the Bible is about the history of the world. We know it is true because thousands of prophesies have come true and we are at the end of history but we know what is coming next because God warns us because he loves us.
Bandit2398 · 51-55, M
The prophecies have not come true. That’s just one of the many lies Christianity tells people. Most people just take their word for it without looking at the so called prophecies. Apologists just come up with ridiculous explanations like the one you did for Hess failed prophecies. One of the main reasons the Jews reject the New Testament is because they know what’s described in the ot prophecies has not been fulfill like the nt described.
But even if what’s described in the new nt does seem like it fulfills prophecies. That’s not very impressive. Anyone could add to stories to make it seem a prophecy came true.
And I don’t know where you got that it was thousands of fulfilled prophescies. The most apologists list is 400. You can see it on this website.

. @Carazaa
Carazaa · F
@Bandit2398 That is just Jesus prophesies but there is the entire bible, and it is the entire future. Just Revelations alone have hundreds of prophesies alone.
Bandit2398 · 51-55, M
@Carazaa well I just showed you a website that said it was at most 400 prophesies.
The author of Matthew said the virgin birth fulfilled a prophecy. But did you know there was no such prophecy? It was a mistranslation from Isaiah.
