@helenS I learned critical thinking skills and too much about the bible. It was based on reasoning, not emotion

@Bandit2398 The bible is a very radical book about humans, and how they relate to God. In the hands of pietistic simpletons it can become toxic. In fact critical thinking is not the bible's strongest point.

@Bandit2398 Oh yes it is, but it's not [u]only[/u] that. Could you try for a while to see yourself as someone who is [u]searching[/u] God? And did not find him yet?

@helenS Well in order to search for god I would first have to know he exists

@Bandit2398 No. You would have to do it at your own risk. There may be nothing. There may be only the infinite void of the universe, and no god.
It's about searching, not about finding.
