I Am An Atheist

NEVER tell your religious parent(s) that you're an atheist, or you'll be judged and argued with so much.

On a serious note, the other day, I told my mom that I was an atheist and me and her got into a huge science vs religion debate, especially since the pope touched down on the United States.

It's amusing, yet, another term that's indescribable at the same time due to the amount of braincells I lost.

Hi curmudgeon just to say you may enjoy the debate between Richard Dawkins and Rowan Williams (former Archbishop of Canterbury). Both are professors in their own subjects at Oxford University (where the debate is held).

Watching them debate is fascinating. Particularly the philosophical theological angle taken by Williams, who accepts evolution and the Big Bang, which fascinated me but didn't change my outlook.

I feel like you can't NOT tell them.. If you have relatively good conversation and connection with your family you can only keep quiet for so long before something they say is going to snag you into a ridiculous debate.
