The EU and India sign "The Mother of all Trade deals"

Together these people represent two Billion people and 25% of the worlds GDP.. And nowhere in any of the fine print does it say a single item has to be sold in US$. And I am betting it wont be..You know that scene in Pretty Woman where the Beverley Hills store saleswoman insults Julia Roberts and regrets it later???😷

Canada is making some big trade deals too.
Trade makes the world go round – and Trump screwed that up for Americans.

Thought I would include my Trump/Marco Polo joke.

Trump: Knock knock.
All the other countries: Who’s there?
Trump: Marco.
All the other countries: Marco who?
Trump: Just Marco because none of the other countries want to trade with me.

Cheers!

@Nanoose Canada's deals with China, Japan and the EU all have one factor in common (I checked) there is no rule in there about what currency has to be used for the trade..And all of those bodies are selling down their stocks of $US.. If this comes to pass, not only does the $US lose a significant amount of its attractive value , causing a defacto devaluation. But American banks lose $Billions in business and commission brokering the deals and transaction.😷

@KunsanVeteran I am so gratified that Canada has finally crawled out of Americas shadow and realised it holds most of the cards in trade when dealing with America. There is no doubt be a couple of speed bumps. (The auto manufacturing is old school and will end up costing both sides ) But Canada can only win out of this in the long run..😷
