900 years old... So after the Norman invasion (1066) but still collating the Saxon laws.
I expect there was a lot of overlap between Saxon and Norman laws, but the Textus Roffensis and the Magna Carta have different purposes anyway.
The former stating the Law, the latter stating how it shall be applied and limited.
There cannot be many countries whose legal history became established nearly a millennium ago and has developed in an unbroken sequence since, while still maintaining those foundations!
