I loved it when I had to take off my shoes and socks for PE lessons. I would run around the gym in my bare feet, make shapes with my body, and express myself freely 馃槍

@Adec757 At my daughter's school they do outdoor activities in all kinds of weather. As we say here, there is no bad weather, there is only wrong clothing.
@Adec757 They surely didn't build those lovely sports fields next to our schools for no reason... but I get what you say. Parents here have begun complaining about it being "unhealthy" to be outside (either because the children would catch a cold or burn in the sunlight).
@Adec757 I would have to guess, but the way they themselves were brought up might well be a reason... I'm not saying "back to the fifties" but a little more structure and discipline would be appreciated.
@Adec757 Many people here admire how polite and academically succesful children from places like Taiwan, South Korea and Singapore are. I wonder if they know there are reasons for those kid's behaviour and attitude... '
