I love Leonid Afremov and I’ve been trying to find similar works, but I just havent had any luck. I did just stumble across Iris Scott and Anastasia Trusova tonight and I like them a lot, but I don’t love them like Afremov!! My favorites by him are Farewell to Anger and Under One Umbrella. Henri Rousseau. He was a naive artist in the same period of Picasso, and I enjoy the primitive nature of his works in both subject and style. I've done some work based on his style and it really takes things down to a refined yet unrefined character.
@BrewCityBarfly Aaah, I’ve never heard of him. I like it…sometimes there is a beauty in simple techniques and the simple life and I feel like this picture brings out the best of both of those.
