I love Leonid Afremov and I’ve been trying to find similar works, but I just havent had any luck. I did just stumble across Iris Scott and Anastasia Trusova tonight and I like them a lot, but I don’t love them like Afremov!! My favorites by him are Farewell to Anger and Under One Umbrella. I have them both hanging in my living room. I’ll attach Under One Umbrella here for your viewing pleasure…

@flowersindecember Oh my gosh, I completely forget he had ‘real’ paintings! I always think of his more wild, abstract stuff. Thank you for the reminder! He was such a talented individual. It’s bizarre seeing his art now and contrasting it to how it must’ve been viewed back then….he must have been so ‘out there’ and a ‘genius ahead of his time’ in those days. Now it’s all been there, done that lol.
