I love Leonid Afremov and I’ve been trying to find similar works, but I just havent had any luck. I did just stumble across Iris Scott and Anastasia Trusova tonight and I like them a lot, but I don’t love them like Afremov!! My favorites by him are Farewell to Anger and Under One Umbrella. I have them both hanging in my living room. I’ll attach Under One Umbrella here for your viewing pleasure…

Margaret Keene. She paints the eyes huge in her paintings because she believes peoples eyes are the window to who they are. She was married to someone who tried to steal her art and he was very abusive- she won the court case by proving it was her finally who made every piece by painting against him in court. A badass and very talented. 🥰
@KittenSmitten0 I had to look her up after reading your comment the other night. I got interrupted and couldn’t reply at the time, but I have seen her art before. I had no idea of the ordeal her ex husband put her through. The audacity of some people is just astounding. I love that they worked it out in court…and I’m very curious to see what he had painted lol. I might have to google that lol. Oh, and yes, I do admire her style!!
