I love Leonid Afremov and I’ve been trying to find similar works, but I just havent had any luck. I did just stumble across Iris Scott and Anastasia Trusova tonight and I like them a lot, but I don’t love them like Afremov!! My favorites by him are Farewell to Anger and Under One Umbrella. @Idontdomornings Incredible detailing, indeed. Brilliantly done. Imagine if he’d had access to todays colors though! I don’t know what it is about still life art, but it instills an instant panic inside me 🤣 I feel stuck or something and I need to run away and go breathe.
