Good point. It must have a physical cause @Hassan

It’s where it all Started. It’s home.
@Teggy This is really a beautiful homage.
Because if you are an HSP or an empath
You're not bombarded with overdoses of energies from living and
non sentient things.

I feel more calm at night.

Daytime is is hyperstressful

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON what's an HSP and by empath do you just mean a normal ass person that has empathy...?
@looping
1.HSP = https://www.verywellmind.com/highly-sensitive-persons-traits-that-create-more-stress-4126393.

2. No.
@looping This is my edited reply.

It's better to read it in a compiled and thorough format, if you wish to.

1. What is an HSP? Highly Sensitive Person.

[c=359E00]i love to chill in my dark, cold room. I usually turn off the light on my room and turn on the AC, drinking juice and enjoy the silent[/c]

I don't find it relaxing, though familiarity can become comfortable. We don't want to be comfortable in a situation that really isn't. Should I have been more literal?
SW-User
I understand. I was referring to darkness literally there as in night/dark room
But in the figurative sense, I agree (:
@PhilDeep
RoxClymer · 41-45, M
depends on the darkness, I sleep in the dark, but it also leaves me alone with my own thoughts that are only quieted by sleep medication.
Silentpleasure · 31-35, F
Less stimulus from things....unless you have an over active imagination....then you never feel alone!
SW-User
Haha true @Silentpleasure
Musicman · 61-69, M
It's not! People need the light.
SW-User
We need both imo.
If you don't like darkness for what it is, its presence still helps you appreciate light. Things are known by their opposites @Musicman
Bleak · 36-40, F
Because it eventually leads towards the light.
I love a pitch dark room when I go to sleep
FatherTime · 61-69, M
because it is quiet and wild.
Ferric67 · M
Serene calmness in quiet darkness
looping · 18-21
because your brain isnt being stimulated by whatever is around you. darkness gives your eyes a moment to rest.
SW-User
Quieter perhaps 🤔
Elanor · F
I’ve always imagined it to be a place where the unsung heroes live, which brings me a lot of comfort ✨😌
