@pentacorn Bless her! She's well wrong, lots of people really appreciate this sort of thing and there's certainly a market for it. Make her set up an etsy shop or insta or something.
When I took that photo, that fish was nibbling food a caretaker had tossed. There was a class of kids who were trying to draw the koi and the caretaker was tossing food to bring them close and make them stay.
@pentacorn I was at the National Arboretum in DC on a weekend, so I do not know if it was a class for a school. Just something held by the Arboretum. After they finished they moved on to draw other things. I stayed to look at the fish.
