Chlorophyll Kiss

In the year 2142, humanity didn’t fight a war; they succumbed to a bio-weapon that accelerated photosynthesis. To survive, people have to "bloom." Their skin has turned green, and they draw energy from the sun—but the process requires a massive consumption of nutrients. Private Aris, from the elite Moss Battalion, is holding his fiancée, Lyra, before shipping out to the "Arid Zones." The roses aren't romantic decoration; they are the highly potent food source they must continuously cultivate to avoid "wilting." Their embrace is a shared caloric ritual as much as a goodbye.

I like it. I'd 100% read a short story on this.

@Longpatrol I think I'm going to start doing that actually, thanks. The thing is though, this is all AI. I dunno if anyone would buy it but I'd like to. I do give the AI direction as to genre, character names and places, loose based ideas and that's what it comes up with mostly. I don't know though, the use of AI seems like it makes people mad.

@marrowengine I think what AI is good for is probably scaffolding, but you can build the story yourself.
