In Barcelona and Malaga there are examples of his early work, where he was conventional. His style was rather cramped.
This is much more vibrant. He could knock his latter work off in half an hour, so what.
His most dynamic work is in Ceret, where he often met Dali. Banned from visiting Spain of course, by the sterile Franco regime, devoid of all creativity.

@peterlee I read that he completed this work in an afternoon.
Le Rêve (1932), which means “the dream” in French, is one of Pablo Picasso’s famous portrait paintings of his mistress, Marie-Thérèse Walter. It has been described as “erotic”, reportedly painted in one day, and was sold for over $150 million in 2013.
