Is it art?

Whether it is art or not art is the wrong question and misses the HUGE point that AI is, among other now well-documented negatives, an environmental disaster. We're getting to the point now where no one can plead ignorance to the negatives, no one can say "I didn't know". After that, willfully continuing to use something that is creating a hellscape in multiple ways is just indefensible.
Here's just TWO articles, out of many, which people should read before opining:
https://unionrayo.com/en/bill-gates-warning-ai-risk-to-humanity/
https://theconversation.com/ai-is-bad-for-the-environment-and-the-problem-is-bigger-than-energy-consumption-247842
And no, it's not art. Does stealing a bag of popcorn and sticking it into a microwave oven to pop make one a chef? Of course not.

@BlueGreenGrey It maybe an environmental negative but it is here. The genie is out of the bottle. No going back now

He said
which it is.
If we just deny electrical power for these farms, it will die.

@SomeMichGuy True. But other countries won’t follow suit

@SomeMichGuy Yeah. There will be a structural shift in the economy. Hard to predict what will happen in next few years.
