@ElwoodBlues Apparently the modern glass is magnificent

@SW-User Yes it is! LSF is unusual in that it's oriented diagonally instead of having the altar at the eastern end. So morning sun shines thru the green & blue windows on the right (as you face the altar), and afternoon sun is on the left red & orange windows. Our tickets admitted us on a beautiful sunny morning.
All the glass is abstract, too, though the names of hundreds of saints are included. My son saw the photos and wondered if LSF is non-denominational because it doesn't contain most of the standard story-telling iconography - though of course there's a large crucifix with a corpus above the altar.

Very pretty! 😀 That reminds me in a way of this building, the Hundertwasser Haus in Vienna, which also has plants in abundance, including on the roof. It was created by the Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, who was, as the English say, 'a bit of a card'. One of his suggestions was to 'recycle' the remains of the human tenants of the building by burying them on the roof, so that they could act as fertiliser for the trees/plants. The city of Vienna said No!

I think there is a Picasso mural on restaurant in the cathedral square.
There is museum of Picassos early work.
I loved the fountains and the whistling market.
Never seen that magnificent stain glass in La Familia though.
Been twice, once at seventeen with a gf from school, and again at fourth right with my wife.
I love Catalonia too. Especially Tarragona before it became an industrial town.
The Spanish spoken there is very different to my poor Spanish, near Almunecar.
