We don't change people by fighting with them.

When I meet someone whose views are hurtful and vastly different than mine, that I wholeheartedly disagree with, I meet them with compassion.

You have to change a heart before you can change a mind.

They are bodhisattvas, too. 🩷

I try too as well. But some of the things they can say about gay people, test me.

@JustGoneNow It's a process. Even the Buddhas were not perfect. They made their way by acknowledging their imperfections...anger, impatience. But they worked through that daily.

@TheFlippantSide Personally, I think Jesus may have been one. Personally I read only the parts that say … “and Jesus said,” and it’s strIght buddhas. I just follow love as Buddha and Christ would have me.
