We don't change people by fighting with them.

When I meet someone whose views are hurtful and vastly different than mine, that I wholeheartedly disagree with, I meet them with compassion.

You have to change a heart before you can change a mind.

They are bodhisattvas, too. 🩷

The older I get the less I’m inclined to believe that we change people at all. When people don’t even believe what they can see with their own eyes, they seem unlikely to hear anything contradicting their beliefs, no matter how it’s delivered. 😞
