Art as a stress relief

I got into art about 4 years ago when i suffered severe depression. It helped me cope with my life. I usually paint my feelings...or at least try too. This painting was when i couldnt sleep because of my anxiety.

It’s a good outlet all right. The day that 9-11 happened I picked up a notebook in my closet at lunch and took out a pen and started doodling scrolls and other border type images. I did it at every break and lunch period for the rest of the work year.
