I already had my work exposed in art gallery few times, not often.
That question would need a very long answer but I try to stay short.
Answer it's IT DEPENDS
First of all I want my work to be meaningful, I try that at least.
Among these pics the 1st one is cute etc but it shows nothing new, it's just a nice drawing in a billion.
The 3rd picture opens more questions, to me, the use of color seems bold, it has a structure and it kind of shows a struggle and even if I don't do abstract art, I'm a very figurative guy, it seems more interesting.
Anyway they could both work very well in their own purpose.
The first one seems to be more the work of an illustration artist, it shows skills but it's nothing new, at all. The 2nd shows a more deep research, that goes out the boundaries of "being nice and cute", or at least it tries to do so.
Also I tend to believe that the 2nd guy could have be able to do all of them while I'm not that sure that the 1st artist would be able to do the 3rd with the same result.
The real problem is that today the world of art galleries if often based only on money and not of original art at all, especially at the higher levels. The 2nd one looks like a perfect market-art-gallery example, to me. It's something I've seen way too many times and it would work well to be sold, cheap execution with a high profit. It reminds me of some (now old) art currents so it would be something solid to buy just for business reasons, not to enjoy or study it.

I want to paint whatever I'm in the mood for at the given moment.

Probably more like something a little cafe would take. 😋 I'd be honoured to have my work in a gallery, but I'm not there yet.
