I know you want some validation, but you know what, screw that. Do it for your own satisfaction and also stay clear of drawing groups or sites because you'll get depressed at how little to no attention you'd get because everyone else is much better. I'm in the same case, my drawing is nothing really interesting and only impresses someone who can't draw anything.
