I hand painted the same Jimi Hendrix as in this video many years back. Started off with gluing a 24"x36" fine wrapping-like paper over the same size canvas and used acrylic instead of oil. This fine paper on canvas technique gave an ageing to the work that I liked. I sketched in pencil first that went to town with acrylic.
