Which do you prefer, colour photographs or black & white? And, why?

I think it strongly depends on the picture. When showing emotion black and white is usually more soothing.

Varies based on the shot, I think. Black and white hints more at being a construction and therefore draws more of my attention, I find.

I lovee black and white.
But I guess that's because the pictures that really look better as black and white are much harder to come by

It depends on what the subject matter is ...but I love black and white photography. Especially old photos
