Why is Picasso famous?

Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M Best Comment
He invented new ways of looking at things. Cubism was a way to see the same object from multiple perspectives at once. It’s both visually and intellectually fascinating.

This portrait is simultaneously a direct view and a profile.

I didn’t even touch his sculpture or his own signature cubism/surrealism mix.
I knew an artist that compared him to Dali. He declared that Dali was merely a graphic artist.

Because he looked at art in a way not done before and co-created 'Cubism' as an artistic movement.

He worked across many mediums from printing to ceramics from sculpting to collage and others.

Mainly for his contribution to art and the development of abstract cubism and other unique works he did.
