I Have Fish

So. I got new fish today. It's Easter, and we had company. I wasnt aware of that. I set my fish on the counter, put them in a bowl until I could put them in their tank. Well. One jumped out while I was away trying to sort their plants which have snails(that's bad).

And a family member stepped on it. I didn't even own that poor gourami for an hour. It jumped out and nobody noticed which means it was slowly suffocating when it was squashed.

Nobodys fault really, it was an accident. If anything it's my fault, I knew better than to leave them in an open container and just didn't think about it. Only took a second for it to jump out. I was pretty sad about it but it had to be taken with some humor, accidents do happen and fish jumping out of bowls or even tanks is not uncommon.

It did not have a name yet, so I will give him one now. I shall call him Timothy Jr. RIP.

Other gourami is doing well.

Kind of. He liked to ram into the sides of the tank, even when I got him. I'm thinking his little fish brain wasn't all there.

That was Dory. Dorothy is wizard of oz main character. I called him kerfufle because that's what he caused in the tank, a big kerfufle every time he decided to move. @Arorin
