Samsung Galaxy phone help...please!

@Royricky09 thanks..but the problem is that icon bar at the top has disappeared.

@Royricky09 thank you....that all sounds far to complex for me! I wouldn't even know how to back up data!!
My daughter is home next weekend, hopefully she will know what to do since she turned it off in the 1st place!!

@RubySoo I hate to suggest Apple might be a better fit for you. I do not like that greedy company but one thing about them is they are simple.

@PDXNative1986 ive veen perfectly happy with Samsung phones for years. Sorry to repeat myself....but it had a very clear options bar visible as I took photos.. as did all my previous phones. But...my daughter used it to take a pic of us both last week ( she is very tall and has longer arms to get us both in..lol) and she turned the timer off. Since then, the timer option bar has gone! She seems to have disabled it, not just turned it off.
Its not even mega important, I can still use the camera of course, I just find things easier with a timer!

@RubySoo these phones I've found by experience you sometimes have to dig into things to figure things out.

@RubySoo At this point given the only advice I could give you is to take it into Geek Squad, I would suggest simply searching the play store for another app with the same features since someone changed a setting and I'm no expert on how to unhide this particular UI feature.
