I love mine and have for a long time. There are many reasons why, and the optional attachments, really work great. I do see them on sale. If you find a 'Classic Model', it's really all most need.
That being said, a good cook, really doesn't 'need' one. Simple hand technique, hand mixers and immersion blenders work well on things. Never discount a good food processer, either.

@Oster1 I love to make homemade bread and rolls from scratch but was thinking it would be better sometimes when I don’t have the strength and energy that I used to. I think I could make some yeast rolls, only have to knead about 100 times and that’s not much for a pan of rolls. Used to make them about once a week in the winter and they really loved them. I couldn’t eat them due to having gluten in them.
