I wish Bon Clay (aka Mr. 2) joined the Straw Hat Pirates
He's so funny! And a perfect example of the Agent Peacock trope if you've ever seen one. 😂
This was before he learned that this was same pirate crew his organization Baroque Works were actively hunting, but he was getting along with them real well.
Even after he learned who they were and became their enemies, he was still hilarious! I think my favorite parts with him are when he'd get into it with Daz Bonez (aka Mr. 1), who he proved he can take in a fight, despite Bonez's skin literally being as tough as steel. The part where they're riding to the capital of Alabasta and Clay was egging him on, leading to this hilarious moment where they almost fight again:
Just look at that fighting stance he takes. It looks so silly and camp, but again, he's proven to be a bad-ass. 🤣
I haven't gotten to the arc where he reappears, but it's good to know he does! But I also know he never actually joins the Straw Hats even if he does befriend them. Which is ashame, because I think they could've made it work. Can't say he wouldn't have been a welcome addition to the crew. 🏴☠
