I always heard Death Note was really good but damn! 🤩

From the first episode I was hooked! I'm halfway through Part I and every episode has been great so far. It's a brilliantly-done crime drama and psychological thriller that I would recommend to anyone who's into movies and shows of those genres. I'm seriously considering showing it my parents. I know they're not going to care for the supernatural aspect of it but I think they'll really enjoy the mystery thriller parts, which is the primary focus of the show. They may very well be put off by the very idea of me showing them an anime, one of which I'm sure they never watched in their lives. They aren't big on any animated shows in general but I was able to get them to watch Arcane with me and they actually enjoyed that. Maybe I can get them to watch Death Note too. If not, no matter. I'm definitely loving it! It's not even that long either at only 37 episodes. On one hand that's refreshing after watching so many lengthy-ass animes like One Piece and Naruto. On the other hand, it's kind of a bummer that is so short for how enjoyable it is, lol. But that's why all good things must end, right?
