How is anime to you?

I've casually watched a few like Dragon Ball...

but I dont really watch anime, not like my workmate does. He keeps suggesting me shows that I'm never gonna watch lol.

Seems like most of it is just designed to annoy me. Unless they are the main characters, the women act like shallow, sheltered children. Whenever anybody gets excited and happy, they change the animation style from realistic to something that looks like it was made in the 80s for a kids cartoon by animators who didn't give a fuck. And don't get me started on the plotlines. With one or two exceptions, it seems like the same half dozen stories recycled with different gimmicks.
