Isn't it amazing how animals have such an intrinsic connection to their environment? Their intuition and natural instincts often outshine our technology. It’s a reminder of the deep wisdom that exists in the natural world, something we often overlook. Sometimes, it’s the simplest forms of awareness that hold the most value.
sometimes they are but sometimes i have to wonder when cookie (dog) is mesmerized by the bandaid on my thumb as i am typing and wont let me type or barking at every little noise that goes by. like the children riding on electric scooters in the neighborhood. or every car door shutting as people get home from work. you would think they would know now? maybe intuition is different than what i'm describing. maybe low iq versus eq? they are very emotionally attuned to me. (i'm dog sitting so that is why it is on my mind.)

Beyond the wild the same is true for our pets. They know when something is going on outside long before we do. If observed some even have their way of telling us.

Their senses are far more sensitive than ours.
They can smell the moisture, they can feel the air pressure changing.
They know about real change like we have long forgotten about real change.
They survive on their own senses like we haven't for hundreds of years.
What most are calling instinct is like saying how do we know it's too hot or cold? We know through our senses.
Only their senses are far more sensitive.

I most often see this intuition with the birds, but that knowing non-human animals have is surely very real...and to me also, precious in a way I can't express well with words.
