Last night I briefly left my bedroom to do a hair mask, and when I came back my dog was lying next to my phone

with nearly an entire cookie directly on top of it. Then she begged me for attention the rest of the night.
I can’t imagine where she found a cookie, and how she managed to get it through my house without me seeing it. Has she been hiding it for this special occasion?
Here’s the cookie in question. It looks like just the edges have been nibbled off.

(I did thank her many times for the gift)

Maybe she downloaded it

@SW-User makes sense

@itsok cookies get everywhere

Doggo role reversal
Well done! But doesn't she have trouble reaching the knobs on the oven?

(For real though, your pup is quite intelligent. Even in placing the cookie on top of your favorite device. A brilliant request for attention!)

@SethGreene531 that picture is so cute, omg
I think she’s pretty smart. She brings me things I need sometimes, like my meds. I didn’t know I needed a cookie
@itsok Wow, you've truly got a best friend. Who knows you inside out. Very intuitive, that's amazing!

Ha ha the pic, yeah it was perfect 😅 Cookie sheet, oven door open...and the outfit🤭

🤣

How is that cookie still Alive ??

My dogs would have put it out of it's misery in one easy gulp ....
itsok · 31-35, F
@BobbyMoeven my dogs are picky and not food driven, but the edges have been nibbled off
BobbyMoeven · 51-55, M
@itsok

Your dogs are clever ....

My dogs possibly would be having the shitzzz or puking it up right now ..... apologies for the graphic imagery ...... I will cutesify it ......💩🤮
I think she was bringing you a gift and was only right that she got the proper attention the rest of the night. I mean, the sneaky manner in which she had to grab and hide the cookie in first place the last time you had cookies.
I'm impressed.
itsok · 31-35, F
@Bexsy I’m impressed too! And I’m sure it was a gift, I just don’t know how she managed it. But she was very pleased with herself, which I find cute
Pfuzylogic · M
The pancakes must have inspired her.
I’m guessing Pippie.
itsok · 31-35, F
@Pfuzylogic definitely pippy. She’s very intuitive

@itsok
She is always first in line for attention.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
Never mind the cookie, what the hell is a hair mask? 🤔
itsok · 31-35, F
@Degbeme it’s like a conditioner you leave on your hair for a while and then rinse out
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@itsok Ah okay. Probably why your hair looks so soft.
deadgerbil · 22-25
Is it stale? When's the last time you had cookies there
deadgerbil · 22-25
@itsok the pup will be glad that the cookie will be providing someone with sustenance, instead of it just sitting around bc of the ungrateful
itsok · 31-35, F
@deadgerbil you better eat every last crumb
deadgerbil · 22-25
@itsok even the hairs

Imma be sick but that's no excuse
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
Wow, and she didn't eat it? What a good dog!
itsok · 31-35, F
@Starcrossed she seems to have nibbled around the edges and didn’t like it
TinFoilHat · F
I think it looks totally edible! ☺️
itsok · 31-35, F
@TinFoilHat it’s alllllll yours, then 😅
TinFoilHat · F
@itsok Oh errrr...ummmm...thank you! 🤣 Can't wait! 😳😁
AuRevoir · 36-40, M
*writes new notes about how u like cookies..* 👀✍️
HannahSky · F
She knew not to eat the chocolate chips
soulshadow · 36-40, M
That's pretty adorable
Glad the doggo seems to have not eaten any chocolate, that could've been bad
@itsok i hope the refusal to eat doesn't cause malnourishment ... it looks like there is an appetite stimulant for dogs called capromorelin, have you ever tried anything like that? Or is it difficult to give them medication too?
itsok · 31-35, F
@BlueGreenGrey she’s not malnourished and has been on an appetite stimulant briefly a few times. With the dog that’s harder to feed, I always opt for liquid medications if available. She does have her simparica that she takes monthly that is a pill, and it’s always a fight.
My other dog isn’t food motivated but is much easier to feed and give medications, which I’m very thankful for, because she takes 5 pills daily.
@itsok it's good that it's somewhat manageable then

I had a cat who was impossible to give palliative care medication to in her final days, it seemed to make her miserable, when she was already miserable, trying to give them to her
