I Am An Animal Lover

It seems animals like me, even if many people despise me. I have a dog that I have rescued from the county animal shelter. She is a small breed, as I can't have a dog over 20 lbs in my apartment. My dog is very friendly, and liked by everyone in the community. Deer frequent the lot outside my window. I have even filmed them as they come to the lot and graze. There are even barn swallows that have built their nest in the corner of my balcony. Sometimes they will perch on the door handle and look in through the window of the door. There have been some raccoons that have come there too, I had to be careful going out, they would climb off a wall ledge and on to my shoulder. Once, there was even a fox (the four legged kind, Oh Well!) that came into my office where I worked and sat under my desk. I thought it was a dog before I got a good look at him. Some of my co-workers were surprised to see I was petting a fox like a dog. Why are animals like this and so few people willing to see me? Last night, 2 kittens were dropped off near my apartment. I took them to the shelter this morning, but they already have too many kittens there and were not accepting any more. Anyone like a kitten, or Two?
