I Love Animals

We feed a family of magpies with dried cat foot that we put on our front porch so we can see them through the door. We've been doing this for some time now and have noticed that this year we have a group of juveniles that will start singing to let us know they are there and there is no food in the dish. Now, I don't know if you've ever heard an Australian magpie sing, but it is beautiful. The only call that is prettier is the pied butcher bird, but they don't do it as much.

Anyway, here I sit, typing away with the lovely sound of calling magpies in the background.

I love watching humming birds
we have a shot I have been unable to find of a humming birds wing and you can see the veins in it ,,
I have to shoot the squirrels to keep bird seed in the feeder (with a bb pistol I don't kill them just put them on the run until the birds have a chance to eat )I love watching birds ,,,but I love nature
they used to call me nature boy before Rick Flare started using it and I told them to stop ,,I love the woods ,the rivers ,swamps ,water falls and caved and caverns ,,but thats cool you have trained them as to where to find food
The humming birds will peck on the window ,its for one or two reasons
the feeder is empty ,or the yellow jackets wont let them get to the feeder
I can fix both problems pretty quick
Ever seen a yellow jacked attack a humming bird ?

@rckt148 We don't have hummingbirds over here, but I've seen photos, very pretty birds.

Awesome, I wish the other birds weren't in the background but magpies are awesome. Lucky you got em!

@KYLakeDiver Sorry, brother, but wrong one. Sorry, can't seem to get it to load a pic. But look up Australian magpie, especially their call.
