I Love Animals and Nature

I have a question. I have been setting on my patio of the evening listening to the outdoor natural sounds. About 8:30 PM all the bird songs stop. Do birds go to bed about this time?

Is it still light, are there lots of open land or are you in an urban area?

@Justbychance I am on the edge of a small town. Open fields on 3 sides of me
About half-hour after sunset. Mostly quite no busy highways no bright lights.
