I love my girls so very much. This is my second harvest for the year of about 45 pounds of honey. All from just 2 bee hives. They are now settling down for winter.

I live in Australia. We have had a long warm summer here. This is the second harvest. The first was about 60 pounds. I could have robbed more but I am always cautious going into winter. I like them to have plenty of food so that they can kick start in spring.@Bushmanoz
@Hanging2 yeah, in Vic, been meaning to grab it, and I do the same, I prefer they have as much as they need over taking the honey. It's my first year with ideals, but things have been a bit busy and I haven't had a chance, so maybe Sunday. I will let you know. Did a small harvest earlier in the year, about 6 frames, the honey was amazing
