I envy people who get to see fireflies where they live. I’ve never seen any here, I only saw them when we visited our grandparents down South.

@bijouxbroussard We have them here. In early July there are millions of them....years ago an Australian family was here on work visa - we became great friends - and having never seen them before, they were mesmerized by them....

Sadly, I haven't seen even one for a long time now. When I was a child living in Florida, they were a magical sort of delight...lighting up the beginning of dark.
