These companies still use animals for testing. Please avoid using them if you love and care for animals.

Reality check here. New products are REQUIRED to be tested on animals before they can be tested on humans. Now, before you get mad at me, I HATE animal testing. I would boycott cosmetics companies and others like that who continue to test on animals. We do not NEED new cosmetics. Drugs and medical testing are far iffier. We need these products. Currently the law requires testing on animals. So perhaps we can focus on finding a better way to test new products, so that we don't have to use animals.

Thanks for putting it this way. My point exactly when you say we don't NEED new cosmetics, and DRUGS are different.
Again - it's the LEVEL of cruelty relative to the need/benefit......and current testing or no - those cosmetics and beauty products are one of THE biggest contaminents of ground water - what's your lame ass excuse for using those ??? You're poisoning animals AND people....

@yllacsar: You have no idea what I use or don't use. I just said that we shouldn't be testing new cosmetics. So your being an ass to me is actually counter-productive. Maybe you should figure out what you (and others) are actually saying before attacking. =)
@yllacsar: I am impressed that you managed to figure out that I don't dye my hair or wear makeup, I rescue wild animals, foster for the local animal shelters, as well as volunteer there several days a week, AND that I am married to a pharmaceutical expert with the US Food and Drug Administration. You know, the people who make and enforce the laws and oversee all animal testing... You are good. =)
