Words to heed and live by. [I Hate Animal Cruelty]

It's wrong to inflict pain on animals because it [i]appears[/i] as though they experience pain similarly as humans.

Nobody knows if they really do. It'd be ridiculous to claim a lion feels remorse if it mauls a human or crips the jugular out of a zebra. Then why do people allow themselves the arrogance of belief that animals carry the same aftermath of an experience that humans do?

Justifying claiming to know animals experience human pain but are exempt from other feelings is idiotic.
