There is shortage of sheep in my country. It is Eid Aldha and they make an animal sacrifice for it. I have sheep and everyone is begging me

To sell.
It is sort of tiny crisis.
Prices going over the roof.
The herd in my farm got bigger without much intervention. They just thrived, living la vida.
I didn't raise them to get eaten.
My cute semi-wild animal friends.
I do harvest their wool but other than that, I don't think I can get my sheep killed.
Not for religion.
Or my goats..
Or my cow.
Or my chicken.
I do be threatening them when they attack me.
But I am uncapable of shortening their lives for trivial reasons.
And that's because when I was a kid, twice..two times my parents killed my pet.
And on one of those times, they tricked me to eat it.
I don't care that we were starving. It was fucked up thing to do. They just did it because they could.
And now I guess people have to deal with me refusing to let them eat my fat animal friends.

@Sherlock

Because I don't really involve myself much in their lives other than making sure they are healthy, they often try attack me out of their grazing areas.

So I tell them I will turn them to kebabs and sometimes I win the argument and they let me be around in peace.
that's effed up tricking you to eat your pet
it's effed to slaughter anything in the name of religion, what a stupid, pointless exercise, to appease things which do not even exist, but the lives of the animals do exist

humanity is quite vile at times and it's questionable whether we are worthy of saving from an extinction, particularly any extinction of our own making
