There Was A Very Small Dead Snake In My Driveway Today, The Head Had Been Chewed Off…

Apparently one of the feral cats found a snake. There are also rattlesnakes in the area and wonder if any of the cats around here have been bitten by them and died. And a dead snake on my driveway in January, what’s up with that.

@Nitedoc I think they stalk the squirrels around here too. I have heard them barking quite a bit and now there are very few going to the bird feeder to get the sunflower seeds. They used to hit it within an hour of me filling it every day and empty it out quickly.

@Nitedoc They don’t seem to mess with the squirrels unless the ravens come here and start up, which has happened a few times. They were trying to scare off the feral cats from their dry food that I set out. Which reminds me I need to make some cornbread to feed the birds before the snow starts, the snowbirds have probably already scouted for birds feeders around here.
