My dog got sprayed by a skunk

Just a couple of hours ago my husband asked me if I could smell a skunk. We were standing in the kitchen and the smell kept getting stronger. I asked if he'd just a moment before let the dog out. He said he'd grab a flashlight and find her.

He found her and brought her in. The smell increased. She got sprayed.

I've smelled skunk lots of times, but never like this. Its hard to find the words to describe it. It was like onions, garlic, mustard, and whatever else.

Hope my dog learned her lesson and wont do this again.
