If you could sit down with a wild animal and ask them “what is the meaning of life?”

They would probably answer “To grow up healthy from infancy to an adult, find a partner to love, and raise offspring in safety and security so that they might also grow to be healthy strong adults, and to spend the rest of your life surviving and watching your family grown.”

But most humans would never be content unless they satisfied the belief they have some lofty purpose to serve.
They would probably tell you to stop wasting your time with such trivial questions

@Ozymandiaz Maybe they’d just eat you.

Humans: "to waste my whole life making someone else rich, leaving a shìtty future to my children, living on the edge of eviction but at least in the end I'll have owned the <insert-whatever-group-here>"
Survival and reproduction. Lots of animals don't mate for life, those are the 2 goals though

They'd be puzzled at the fact that we literally murder, rape and steal and slave away for long hours for pieces of printed paper.

@basilfawlty89 You might murder and rape and steal for money…

@Ceinwyn I never said I personally did, I was speaking of the species as a whole. What is the motive of war if not ultimately for resources, profit and land?
Ceinwyn · 26-30, F
@basilfawlty89 Depends on the war.
